As a Leader making financial decisions for your organization, what and who will you be expected to know?
This workshop brings in domain experts to give you answers by combining presentation, practical exercise, and Q&A.
Wednesday, September 24th
Where and when?
Wednesday, September 24th
Omni Viking Lakes Hotel, Eagan MN
12 – 4pm (lunch included)
This was $300, and should have been $1,000
Financial illiteracy is a limiting factor both to how fully I allow myself to be present in my own life, and to what I believe is possible for me.
Attending the H2B2 Finance Workshop was the first step in acknowledging the problem and provided just enough of just the right information across a broad range of topics within the category of finance. As a result of the workshop, I now know where to start to address that limitation.

2024 Highlights
The workshop was a hella fun
I attended the first session of this workshop. Really informative session with interesting perspectives, top notch presenters that engage the audience with meaningful dialog, and super cool space. Check it out!
The ability for questions during the presentation was great. You did a great job keeping the event on time and still enabling flexibility.
We all need financial acumen
EVERYONE needs to know how money works, both personally and professionally.
For Seconds in Command, financial acumen is a non-negotiable.
At the same time, we rarely see that expectation clearly defined.
Largely because the organizations we lead are so different!
You need completely different resources and strategies to lead different organizations
- a $3M non-profit food pantry
- a $25M B-Corp Consultancy
- a $1B for-profit manufacturing company
- a $500K Web Design Agency
And we haven’t even talked about PERSONAL finance yet…
You’ve been building, solving problems, making progress… which means you rarely get the chance to go DEEP in any area.
So when people look to you for financial decisions, the imposter syndrome hits hard.
This workshop crushes that uneasy feeling.
You don’t need a CPA, PMP, or whatever.
You need to know what matters, what questions to ask, and who to call when you’re stuck.
In person learning
Learning live with other curious people is a magical experience, especially when that includes experienced educators and a cool space!
Rapid fire content
Most workshops go deep on a single topic. We go BROAD, and we have a lot of ground to cover.
Personal and Home, Small Business, Big Business, Tax, End of life, and more…
Connected to experts
The experience isn’t over when the workshop ends!
Now that you know where to dig in, you already know exactly who to call.
I loved the format. I loved the setup and the down-to-earth feel of the space. The presenters were excellently prepared and seemed very qualified for their subjects.
I was intimidated to attend because I don’t feel that Finance is my strength but I found that I know more than I realized! I also learned a lot. There were definitely topics that left me wanting more so when is the next workshop?!
I can only imagine how hard it was to decide what to include in this workshop, not knowing what people already know and what they want to learn, so Bravo on hitting the mark!
